Small Group Classes
A group class runs for 4 consecutive
weeks. Each session is about 1 and 15 minutes. The location is generally
held in my home in Lynnwood, Washington. There are 3-5 babies in
order to keep each class personal and unique to the needs of the
participants. This class is most appropriate for babies 4 weeks
to pre-crawling. Participants will learn the benefits of infant
massage, behavioral states of babies, research based and ancient
massage strokes, gas, colic and congestion relief routines, adaptations
of massage for the growing child, and gentle exercise movements.
Parents will also have the opportunity to practice these in a supportive
environment as well as discuss several parenting issues with other
parents. Sharing thoughts with other parents will help to ease the
major transition into parenthood and will allow you to establish
a network of parents. Classes are relaxing and fun for both parents
and infants. The class atmosphere is centered around parent and
infant needs. In this class you will learn many things that will
enhance the parent-infant interaction that will help create a lasting
bond through nurturing touch and respectful communication.
In addition to instruction in infant
massage, each participate will have the opportunity to utilize my
personal library of resources while taking the class. Included in
this library of resources are several books, videos, and music tapes
ranging from information on infant massage to sign language with
your baby, and more.
Individual Instruction
Individual classes generally run for
3 consecutive weeks. Each series and session is tailored to meet
the individual needs of you and your infant with one on one instruction.

needs babies, when you have multiple children, crawling or walking
children, or if you just like one on one teaching. In this class

that will help create a lasting bond through nurturing touch and
